“We would expect the cannibalization of the current iPad by the accessories for iPad suppliers to be relatively minor and potentially in a range of just 10-20 percent, while the market opportunity could eventually be larger for the ‘iPad Mini’ given the growth trends in developing countries.”White believes that a 7-inch tablet would be a hit in developing countries like China and price conscious consumers who will find the rumored $250 price tag more appealing. It is also possible that “two-iPad families” may end up owning both versions, with the smaller version going to accessories for iPad people, most likely children, who can handle a 7-inch tablet better than a 10-inch one.
“We would not be surprised if certain consumers end up owning both a regular-sized iPad and an ‘iPad Mini,’ swapping between the two devices for different occasions,” says White.Ultimately, the iPad Mini’s main competitors will still be Android devices from Google and Amazon’s Kindle Fire which are currently retailing for less than $200. Rumors have been floating around that the iPhone 5′s battery manufacturer is having issues with producing enough batteries that meet Apple’s exacting standards. According to a report from T3, the iPhone Accessories manufacturer has not even completed half of the order request with just a few months to go before the release:
“According to Topeka Capital Markets analyst Brian White, the unnamed manufacturer has only fulfilled 30 per cent of the orders placed by Apple, which is worryingly low considering the iPhone 5 is expected to land either in September or October, rumours suggest.”The iPhone 5 is rumored to feature a radically revamped design that people are expecting to be longer and thinner to accommodate a bigger screen and be able to compete with other smartphones, specifically the ones running Android OS, that have been steadily grabbing more of the market’s attention. This new design may mean that it will have a new, thinner battery as well that may be more difficult to produce.
The good news though is that these issues involving the battery for the iPhone 5 are not expected to delay the iPhone’s release. According to White, he believes that iPhone Accessories will be able to figure out a solution in time for a September launch. Other analysts have echoed this and Neil Hughes from Apple Insider has shared that the battery manufacturer  is already “working to solve the problem.”
Rumors suggest that eager consumers can expect the iPhone 5 to become available sometime later this year. Analysts can’t seem to agree on a date though, with some saying that White’s prediction of a September release being “too early” and that it would be more realistic to expect Apple to wait at least a year from their last iPhone launch before unveiling a new handset.

Laptop Magazine agreed, and expounded on the potential the device unlocks. They noted that a dedicated point-and-shoot couldn’t swap a fish-eye for a macro as quickly as the Olloclip can. Macworld likes that “the fisheye and wide-angle lenses also have secure, plastic lens caps, so you don’t need to worry about the glass getting scratched while bouncing around in a bag with sharp items.” Engadget held lenses to professional standards, and only found “minor barrel distortion” compared to that of a DSLR’s wide-angle lens.The one grievance reviewers agreed on is that the Olloclip can’t attach over an iPhone case. This was a deciding point for iLounge, with its staff of iPhone case advocates. They said, “In short, despite its capabilities, the 3-in-One Photo Lens wasn’t something any of us would actually use, and mounting was as much to blame as anything else.” But if you’re anything like our own Kyle VanHemert or Instagram superstar Doctor Popular, both of whom carry their phones au naturel, this isn’t a problem.

Google is looking to make that happen as the folks in Mountain View has revealed that the upcoming Ice Cream Sandwich OS will be the first Android software to institute design standards for developers.
